Your next opportunity:
Based in Bendigo we are seeking a responsible, organised and experienced leader to join our team as an Asphalt Regional Manager. In this role you will lead a diverse range of departments to optimise the performance outcomes of the business.
Your day will involve:

Represent Boral Asphalt as the senior management representative in the region

Develop strategic solutions for short and long term sustainability

Lead and drive HSEQ strategies, initiatives and standards

Manage the asphalt and spray seal operations within the region whist integrating with the other regions and states

Manage business elements of exemplary safety, financial performance and accountability, production / manufacturing, technical awareness, plant and equipment utilisation / sustainable maintenance, contacting estimating and project delivery

Continue to maintain and develop strong working relationships with the regional customer base and ensure Boral provides superior customer service

Personnel management with a focus on upskilling / development and succession planning

Prepare and review reports (safety, financial, quality, environmental as required maximising key deliverables
What are we looking for?

Intrinsic drive to succeed installing energy into the business whilst inspiring the team and installing confidence to both the team and customer expectations and delivery

Experience in managing contracting teams, customer relationships, safety expectations, commercial aspects of projects or businesses

Commitment to Zero Harm and demonstrated safety leadership behaviors

Asphalt and Spray Sealing industry experience highly regarded but not required.

Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with personnel, and to lead and influence people

Antimonious by nature but committed to the team / business directives for results-orientation
