At Boral, we’re seeking motivated Plant Operators to join our team at Middle Swan Concrete Plant on a fixed-term contract until October 2025, offering the opportunity to work across various locations in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the Plant Operator will ensure the smooth operation of batching, equipment, and site maintenance.

The role will require travel between sites as part of the mobile operations team.

Your day will involve: 

• Accurate batching of concrete orders using advanced systems.
• Operating front-end loaders to weigh and load materials.
• Managing daily administration, including stock control and reporting.
• Inspecting and maintaining plant equipment and trucks.
• General housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment.

What are we looking for? 

• A strong safety focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound computer skills for batching, reporting, and stock management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Requirements:

• A keen interest in the concrete industry (training provided).
• Flexibility to take on diverse responsibilities.
• The role will require the ability to travel between locations and adapt to various site environments as part of the mobile team.
