The primary focus of this role will be to oversee operations and will involve day-to-day decision making, delegation of tasks and enforcing of safety rules, policies and procedures.   

Your day will involve: 

• Supervise, communicate and coordinate the concrete batching and delivery team on a major project.
• Communicate and work closely with the customer on the project.
• Manage raw material stock of cement, sand, aggregates, additive chemicals, etc.
• Facilitate safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting. 
• Manage project forecasts and planning ahead to ensure success.

What are we looking for? 

• Experience in managing/supervising teams and projects in a similar role or industry.
• Sound computer skills or experience in production systems/software.
• Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required. 
• FEL licence and HR licence will be highly regarded.
• Commitment to a culture of safety and zero harm.
